First of all, don’t freak out.

In all likelihood, your power will be back on again pretty quickly, but it’s a good idea to take a look out your window and check whether other houses in the neighbourhood appear to be without power too.

If others in your street don’t appear to have power either, then your local network company is likely to already know about the fault, and you should just sit tight. You can check the website and social media pages of your local network company, listed below, for updates.
